Banned Books Week: An Embarrassing Reading

Aight, I said I’d make a virtual readout and so I did. With my horrible webcam. As if listening to my English wasn’t bad enough, the sound is also way off and I have no idea how to fix it. So here goes 8-9 minutes of your life you’ll never get back! 😉

I will take this off of YouTube as soon as Banned Books Week is over, but at least I did my crappy part in it! :’) If you want to read more about Banned Books Week or even participate in it yourself, you can find more information HERE.

    I thought it was totally fine. Weird that the sound lagged but still totally watchable. LOL 50 shades!

    When you mentioned “unicorn” I panicked for a split second until “porn” was added haha! I was like “Phew! not mines then!”

    Hahahahahaha! That was AWESOME. Not because of your accent, mind you. I loved how you used the instrumental fromm Titanic and I mean.. I’m sorry but Fifty Shades of Grey just makes me laugh. (I’m not sorry) In any case, you have no reason to hide in a corner. 🙂

    We had BDSM Torture as an extracurricular in High School ;)I cannot believe you did not tell me this was the book you chose brat! You have seriously big cajones which is what makes you so fantastic! I loved every minute of this right down to that music! Was that Celine Dion?!

    Could Unicorn pron be referred to as Uniporn? Food for thought!

    I think you did fantastic with this. It almost gives me the courage, but not yet. I wish you would do this more often. You are lovely and your English is perfect 😉

    I just had to see this. You look lovely and your English is so good! I’ve seen your profile pic so many times now that I really have that in my head and it’s weird actually seeing a person that looks nothing like the profile pic;-). Good choice of book too, I’m totally backing you up. That background music while reading that excerpt was a bit funny, who knew Titanic and Fifty Shades could be thrown together. You are great with the webcam software (I wouldn’t even know where to start) and you should do this more often!

      Thank you! blushes even more Hahahaha! Well, I wasn’t wearing my glasses here! And didn’t give anyone the finger ;). Aha! I bet they had a secret sex dungeon on board and that’s what REALLY sunk the ship. Icebergs…this was a cheap free thingy, but at least the horribly kitchy heart frame worked :’). Thank you! I’m most likely leaving it with with this one though. My blood pressure can’t handle this amount of stress! 😉

    Unicorn porn lmao and that titanic music had me laughing so hard!! All in all though, I agree with your point. Let people read whatever they want. I don’t think books should be banned just because they don’t fit in people’s “standards of society”…oh and btw your English isn’t horrible! STOP THAT!

    The sound is lagging, not sure why. Hey – you did great! I think it’s hilarious that you picked this book. A PERFECT selection for a reading. 🙂 I don’t like this book either. I won’t read it. Abuse, poor writing, etc. But still – I’m against book banning in any way.

      Thank you m’lady! ❤ Hahaha, yeah, I don’t want more videos, the stress of doing one has bad effects on my complexion :’). (luckily, there’s sausage grease to counteract that though). I knew you’d agree with the material here. It was either this one or a book about autism. This one was certainly more entertaining :’). LOL! You should totally do that :’) I was thinking of you when I read it. The Queen of Smut moving to a state where smut is banned from the public library :’) :’)

    Good job! During your reading of 50 Shades, I was like snore… it wasn’t because you were delivering, it was because of the content.. these lines really made me bored and cringe… yeah, I was interested at having a go for a rant review, but darn it, life’s too short!
    Had to snort at the pigtails line…:D pigtails? seriously?

      Thank you! 😉 Ahaha, yeah, this is definitely some majestic writing eh? I actually read the entire first book years ago, with the emphasis on finishing it. I must’ve been in a bad place in my life at the time. And don’t get me started on the pigtails :’). Maybe next year, with better software and stuffz. Lol, why thank you! ❤

          Yeah…it’s fucking embarrassing :’). But it happened while I was fiddling around with themes, so I was already looking for something a little more flashy ;). YAAAY! :’) It was SOOO awful, it made it nice again I suppose XD. What kind of camera do you use? I just used my webcam = crappy quality and sound being off by a mile. LOL, yes, this was my 2nd video and will probably be the last with all the stress about it and whatnot :’).

            I use my cellphone, because I think my webcam might have crappy quality too, but I haven’t yet decided if I want to invest into something much better quality, I mean I guess I should if I continue to make videos but I don’t want to spend the money. I will keep thinking about it. My videos are crappy quality too, no worries. LOL. probably why I don’t have many subs either.
            You should make more videos, I mean seriously, you did well, very professional.

              Do you have a special holder for it or something then? I wouldn’t have a clue where to put my cellphone without it falling over ;). Meh, it’s a lot of money, so quite an investment which you never know if it’s actually going to pay off. Then again, risks are for the taking! At least your sound is spot on! xD Hmm, maybe. I’ve only got a couple of good years left before I look like a complete soccer mom anyways :’)

              I do not have a special holder, I pretty much take a risk and stand it up against my laptop in hopes it doesn’t fall over during the video shoot. LOL. Somedays, it has fallen over before actually doing the video and other days it is on its best behavior. It is a risk I am willing to take because I am too lazy to come up with an alternative at the moment. LOL.

              Yeah, I won’t complain about the sound, it could use some tweaks here and there, but nothing I am too worried about, nor want to take all that much time in editing. LOL. can you tell I am lazy when it comes to videos 😛

              Soccer moms are the sexy new thing these days, picking up the kids for ice cream, doing loads of laundry and riding a speedy van 😛

    Pity about the lack of synchronisation.
    Yes, maybe there are way, way worse books out there, but would you really want parents to encourage their ten-year-old kids to read Fifty Shades. I mean, there’s banning and there’s BANNING

      Yes, it’s a sign that I shouldn’t be doing videos in the first place ;). No, encouraging is something different. If my 10-year-old would come home with a Fifty Shades book, I’d be gulping too ;). Maybe they could put an age stamp on it, so it won’t be read by very young children. If they sneakily manage to get their hands on it anyways, it’ll be like little boys and Playboy magazines back in the day. A whole lot of gasping. But even more so with this one: a whole lot of snoring because the story in itself is terribly boring.

      O_o Girl, have you watched the right video?! LOL, yeah, I definitely need better software if I want to do this more often (which I probably don’t, unless it’s a Kung Fu movie with the crappy dubbing 😉 ). Bwahahaha, hiring a model :’) You’re one silly sausage aren’t ya? ❤ But thank you ;).
      I’m not sure if it’s worth it yet to be honest, I already bought the domain name last year and started the premium account a few months ago, but so far, I don’t notice a lot of the ‘perks’ (.>. A thing I’m not sure of is the ability to customize your CSS in the customization feed. I only started doing that recently, so I have no idea if it was already available in the free version.     Super late to the game but I SAW A PART OF THIS AND YOU’RE ADORABLE! You did wonderfully! I wish I had been able to catch the rest (not even sure how much I did see) but your English is impeccable! 😀 Did you have fun filming?
