Indie Month Update
Yeah, so Indie Month was supposed to end on the 19th last week with a review of Missing Mona by Joe Klingler. Unfortunately, during the last couple of weeks, there’s been so much drama in my private atmosphere that I could simply not keep up with my posting schedule anymore…
But! Before you start thinking this will be a depressing post: naaaah! Things are looking up again (sorta) and I finished reading 3 books this weekend. I’m hoping to post a review of one of them tomorrow, but since I have an appointment at the hospital again, I’m not counting on it. However, I will try and get those 3 reviews up this week and sincerely hope to getting back to my old schedule again the week after with a regular 2 reviews + a Graphic Friday (I have Rat Queens Volume 3 lying around here since the day after it got published last week and aaargh *points at illustration up here again*).
Soo, scheduled for this upcoming week are reviews of:
There will be a Rafflecopter giveaway of a signed copy of Witchyman attached to my review of it. I think I might keep it as the last post for this week, to wrap up Indie Month with properly.
Ah, Indie Month…how I underestimated you! Did I enjoy it? Yes. Will I run another one sometime this year? Most likely. Will I make sure to be more prepared? Fuck yes. Starting with making it an actual month instead of the 7-8 weeks it entailed now. A month would be SO much better, but hey, you only learn these things by trial and error right?
I will write another wrap-up post next weekend to take a look back at the past 2 months and see the immense diversity in the books that were part of this little project. I can honestly say I learned so much!
For now, I wish you all a great whatever is left of your Sunday, and
Can’t wait for the reviews 🙂 eep!
But most importantly- I hope you’re feeling better and will be able to get back to normalty pronto! Take care!
