Halloween Giveaway – CLOSED

Because I love Halloween so much and I adore Neil Gaiman’s work, I decided to choose this awesome box set as my first Giveaway!

I’m giving away one set, containing three paperback copies: one of ‘Coraline’, one of ‘The Graveyard Book’ and one of ‘Fortunately, the Milk’. I already own the box set myself and Chris Riddell’s illustrations look amazing! I haven’t read any of these three books yet, but I keep hearing about how The Graveyard Book is a GREAT book for Halloween. Having read other books by Neil Gaiman, I’m 100% sure it will live up to its expectations. I DID seen the Coraline movie and can truly say that it was so much fun, but also quite creepy!

Edit: A day after posting this, I discovered All Hallow’s Read. An initiative by Neil Gaiman to give someone a scary book for Halloween. I wish I had found out sooner because this is exactly what I’m aiming for (besides giving my blog a little boost of course). It’s not too late to mention this awesome idea though, so here ya go!     Lovely giveaway, scary books are great at Halloween time and when the dark nights appear. My favourite scary book is ‘Frozen Charlotte’ by Alex Bell. It is a really creepy book with dolls!!!

    George Orwell 1984 was quite a scary book which fascinated me, not sure how long it will be till the thought police can tap in to our real life brains eeek

    My favorite scary book as a child was an anthology of short stories called “Whistle in the Graveyard”. I used to borrow it from the library over and over. Thank you for the great giveaway. Neil Gaiman is brilliant.
