Last Week on Inked Brownies

Mini break

Howdy people!

I already posted on Twitter that I would be absent for a few days due to attending a funeral in the south of Holland. It’s not like it’s that far away, but when the only radio channels you receive in the car are Belgian ones with Eurohouse from the ’90’s, and a local channel with ‘interesting’ topics such as harvesting potatoes and cleaning oysters, you know you’re further away from home than usual.

Anyhow, I’m back home now, but sick as a dog thanks to my ovaries being a bitch again, so I’m off the radar for a couple of days longer than intended. I’ll be trying to read as much as I can in between ‘contractions’, but any posts and socialising will have to wait until the worst of this shit is over.

Adios muchachas,ย wishing all of you a spectacular weekend!

    • Thanks babe โค It wasn’t really a personal loss to me but one of our best friends his mother passed away last week. She just turned 55 3 days before she died, so it’s all pretty sad.

  6. What’s wrong with Belgian radio stations? ๐Ÿ˜†
Anyway, hope you feel better real soon! I feel your pain…
Take care, something warm usually does the trick for me.

    • Hahaha, well, maybe it’s just me but every time I turn on MNM, there’s something with synthesizers playing on it. Or Britney Spears XD. Then again, nothing beats German radio stations….sings ‘I’ve been looking for freedom’ . Thanks! โค I got some super massive painkillers this time which made me sleepy but were a godsend! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Yes, well, the quickest way to lose 20 pounds is to come down with a good case of pneumonia, too and yeah…no!!

My “end” came in my mid-thirties…scary, at first, but dr said in my case, it made perfect sense! Long story…not for public forum!๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜†

        • Hahaha, one of my coworkers was on chemo and just smiled about it, saying “At least I’m getting my old figure back”. She died in the end, though -_-. Ooh, I’m already in pre-menopause as well according to my blood tests. Interesting topic, but let’s save it for email convos idd! ๐Ÿ˜‰ XD

  9. Ooh, I’m so sorry about the female issues. I used to have a horrible monthly time, too. Those days are gone for me. I hope you can read and relax with a heating pad.

    • Thank you <3. I’ve got endometriosis and the months have been a complete torture since December. My GYN told me a hysterectomy would be the best permanent cure, but I’m not going there just yet. First other surgery is planned next Monday. Sweet new painkillers, a heating pad and a book did the trick for now idd! ๐Ÿ™‚
