Feature & Follow Friday #2
The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts: Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.
How does this work?
The goal is to increase blog followers and make friends! Every Friday, the two hosts will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas, and pose a question for other participating bloggers to answer. Itβs a chance to find some new blogs to visit, and gain some new followers in return: win/win!
This week’s question is:
If you could teleport into ANY story, which would you chose? β Suggested by Life Is Reading
I’m currently reading an ARC of Baker’s Magic by Diane Zahler, and there are so many wonderful tarts, pies, and cakes in this book, that I go to bed drooling every night. Bee, the protagonist in the book can also bake emotions into her cakes, so I would definitely want to teleport into that story and eat the delicious Bouts’ Buns with energetic happiness baked into them, for during the day, and blueberry tarts with relaxation and sleepiness baked into them before going to bed. Oh myyyy, can I go there now?!
If you also feel like participating in this Blog Hop, here are the rules for the #FF:
1. Follow the two hosts (this is a requirement)
2. Follow the featured blog (also required)
3. Put your blog name and URL in the linky thing (you’ll know once you check the post on the hosts’ blogs)
3. Grab the button up here/there and place it in your post. This will give people a place to say ‘hi’ in your comments and let you know that they are following you.
4. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC, (Google Friend Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
5. Follow, Follow, Follow! As many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow: comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say ‘HI’.
6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the love…and the followers~!
7. If you’re new to the FF hop, comment on one of the hosts’ blogs and let them know, so they can stop by and check out your blog!
I don’t have a preference for a specific follow option (yet), so go knock yourself out! π

Ooh, Baker’s Magic sounds like a fun book! I just added it to my TBR list on GR. I picked that I would like to be in the world of Percy Jackson from The Lightning Thief. I would love to be a camp counselor at Camp Half-Blood! I’ll be making your Chocolate Pumpkin cake for Thanksgiving!

Whoo, it’s a MG book, and I love it so far. I might be biased, though, with all the cakes and whatnot π The Percy Jackson series has been on my TBR list for years now! Here’s another incentive for me to finally start reading it :). Good luck with the cake! I’d love to hear what you thought of it. And don’t forget to go easy on the buttercream ;).

That sounds interesting! Deadly Delicious by KL Kincy had two characters who could bake “voodoo” into their treats. You never want to make them mad!

WOW!! That sounds SO delicious and just all-around WONDERFUL!! I don’t blame you at all for wanting to teleport into that story! I haven’t heard of this novel before, but now I will add it to my Goodreads TBR! As your second GIF says, “Cool, cool, coolcoolcool.” Lol.
Happy, Scrumptious Reading!! (Love your avatar, by the way! Too funny!! : )

It does, doesn’t it?! I’m sure the author will be delighted to hear that as well :). Thank you!! (I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into that avatar…okay, or just a 1 click photoshop thingy ;).
